Without knowing exactly _how_ you reported that information, I don't care really.

It could have been 99% cuss words. People nowadays feel pretty comfortable about saying the nastiest thing possible online. So for all I know, you deserved to be banned. A very large majority of people coming online to "warn" others A) deserved the ban they got, and B) are small children without any manners. Some of the "small children" could be adults in their 40's or 50's for all I know. They're acting like small children online, so they effectively are. I can only judge people as they appear to be presenting online.

Many are actually small children though. There's something about the 10-14 age bracket that cause them to frantically "warn" others when they get slapped down. Basically it's aesops fable about the fox that cut off his own tail. He then tries to convince other foxes to cut off their own tails too. They don't want to accept the punishment they deserve, and they want to pass on how unfair they think the punishment was to others with some half baked call to arms. Yawn.

Thank you for sharing the important news. Let me return the favor by telling you that fire is bad. It will burn you. Do not touch fire. Oh, and water will make you wet.

I don't see this as true on any of their forums. I have openly criticized aspects of Icarus and of their other game. I have equally praised certain aspects. There are ways to give constructive feedback without being a fanboi but also without being overtly negative about everything in the game and on planet Earth. It is all about balance and maturity.

I've seen dean hall personally reply on here to a post regarding the games optimization and some people where a bit harsh in there, which is kinda justified given how bad the game runs on high tier hardware. Yet those people have not been banned.

The devs have been patient, thoughtful and receptive since day 1 and have struck a good balance between staying true to their vision and providing the community what they want. I have been critical both here and in the Discord yet was never met with derision or punitive measures.

I believe if the thread "criticism", no matter how harsh, may be accepted if it's within gaming context... it's fine. I am sure they can take most "insults" with humility :)

Maybe those "types" of users just need some kind of conformation that the thread has been read by a developer.

This person is creating multiple accounts after being banned. Their behavior has escalated to other concerning behavior that is being taken further.

I will leave this post here so people are aware of their username, until the matter can be dealt with properly by steam and authorities.
