Electric Furnace not accepting power?
So anyone have issues with powering the furnace with water wheels? I have 9 water wheels, making 18,000 power. I keep my wheel unclogged. I only have a deep drill, a water pump and the material processor on my power network. All of which have worked fine. Today I made the furnace for the first time and it reads the network but says there's not enough power. Currently should only have 5,500 power in use prior to the furnace making a total of 8,000. I have rebuild the wiring scheme three times.

Any thoughts or help?

My guess would be that some of the water wheels aren't connected properly. You said you rebuilt the wiring three times, does that include going all the way back to the water wheels? Trying to make connections underwater can be pretty annoying.

Thanks, I guess i missed a connection or too. i had a bridge over the river and i made a single line that the wheels could connect to and this seems to have solved it. Even though they all showed connected when I was wiring it. It needed the overhaul anyways lol

I've had a couple of wiring issues from time to time. I don't know exactly how it would be done, but it would be VERY helpful if, say, the Electrical Tool could give me a readout on how many watts were available / being drawn at whichever hockey puck I was looking at, or something of that nature.

That, and self-cleaning water wheels. But I try to keep my expectations reasonable :)

Wheels clog at 25+ items, but only dried herbs stack. So let the sponges take over all slots and wheels will work forever, as any new dried herb will be ejected.

I... had not considered that. Guess I assumed having all slots full would also clog the wheel. Thanks for that.

I believe 50 is the exact number it clogs at - Spoiled Plants plus Sponge.

I had heard of filling it completely with sponges but I've never been able to have it happen - even running a base with 12+ water wheels for 20+ hours. Can you confirm if this is even possible? Is it just RNG that thumbed it's nose at me? Or is there a trick to setting it up?

I have 9 running at all but 1 space with sponges in this mission. I am trying to force a sponge to see. I have been trying to find proof that sponges and waste spawn at the same time or separately. This mission has been active for about 48 hours now. i dont focus on it as I am just playing around, but so far no luck.
