Not happy at all with this.
Well, they DID have migration options where you did NOT have to do this until about a week ago. But they were having issues where people who had migrated already hit the button to migrate again, which messed them up... they probably figured most people had migrated, and the people who were impacted who had not migrated yet. were less than those getting messed up. :/
So all is lost I guess?
you still would have stored characters on their server and been hit by the migration.
That's because all your character files and data are stored on your local harddrive. Copy the save info from your old machine to the new one, and you should be fine.
Does that mean, if I mistakenly updated the game and logged in. It's too late to find my local stored saved progress characters? Because, looking into my saved data folder now, there's only that new saved file, which is my new character. There's no sign of the old saved game data file.
