Is Level 50 the max?

Yes 50 is max. The level # won't go any higher than 50 but you can still level up after 50 and gain 3 tech points per level. Eventually you will level up enough to attain every blueprint.

I kinda disagree.. I like the fact that you can run a specialized character in group situations or have to choose the path on how you play solo.

There is the ZenProgression mod which solves this - Strongly recommend it.

A prestige system would be nice, reset your level but keep your currently assigned points.

Dang it I wish you could go beyond infinite or at least have a workshop mod for that even if it takes forever I don't want a ceiling for my character.

Note that this is an old thread. The level cap is higher now and they also upped the amount of talent points you get.
I also believe there are mods to give you more points.

No lvl 60 i the max. You get talent points up to lvl 60 and continue getting blueprint points after that. but you won't go above 60

you can edit your savegame to "relevel" again but keeping all the talent points you already put out.

You just need to look up how it works correctly because you are kinda loose access to your blueprints craftings by lowering your level again but you can reset your characters level in your save game to a level you wish to level from again.
