u can't, the open world is a mode what need a host, and if that host doesn't be able to conect/host the server where is the open world, u or ur friends can't conect

C:\Users\ <your user name> \AppData\Local\Icarus\Saved\Outposts

is where Outpost AND Open World save games are stored. You could just email it to a friend.

Brother and I play, normally on his pc. When he emailed me the outpost file it just starts our characters at the little lake that you go to on the first mission. We have a huge outpost at G14 and it's gone. Hopefully, when we reload the game from his pc it comes back as this took us dozens of hours to build. The file size is 333KB on the download from my brother and when I load the game, I end up in a pod, rather than in our house which is where we saved. It also changes the file size to 59KB. Any ideas?

Does this save file have to be sent back and forth as each player uses it or does it direct the game to access the data on a server?

Thanks.

is it possible that it will be later like the normal missions , its save on the server side, so my friend can play while im offline.. and we can find ressources to send them into space in our wallets?
