The answer is to not build in the drop zone. It's as simple as that, and seems like a realistic precaution.
This is an old issue that clearly is not going to be changed. Either people get smart or get destroyed, pretty simple really. Ignorance will always consume you.
Sure but there is not. If you look through the forums it has been happening for a long time with no change. Do you really need a warning for everything? Oh wait we have to put a warning on laundry detergent pods today not to eat them so I guess we do. Given people can not learn things on their own.
Even so a small warning not to build in the drop zone would be nice to avoid these things happening and in having that warning you can always say "well didn't you read the warning?" when it happens anyway, without the need to do anything else about it.
When you have to resort to one of the laziest fallacies of argument...

Even in EGS, I explore the whole first planet and find a nice, scenic spot (by a lake) to build...
