Only googling for specific mission will allow you to learn what you will exactly do there.
A couple of general points - mission description gives you a rough idea of what to expect.
Yes, it's ususally not very descriptive, but if it says "power up this machine" that literally means electricity/fuel, which is T3/T4 ( level 20 / 30 ) stuff.
Also, mission timer is ususally VERY generous - if you are given 6 days - it's 6 x 24 hours of real time PLAYED. So, unless you are doing a 6 hour mission, you should have enough time to level up to 20, or heck even 30.
Don't be discouraged that mission requires something out of your reach - 5 levels can be earned in a couple of hours with dedicated hunting/mining/tree chopping combined with some hefty crafting :)
If you look, you do a scan mission, and that has a number of quests off it. Two of those are to open other biomes (canyons and the glacier).
If you look past those, there is another scan mission for each of those biomes, which is another quest "hub".
Generally speaking, all quests off the scan mission are roughly the same level, EXCEPT for any to open a new biome.
So, you can do any of the missions around/in the forest, but to do the two to get to canyons and glacier, you want to be level 20.
Why level 20?
For the glacier, you MUST have fur armor, and that is level-locked at 20. The canyons aren't quite so strict, but still looking at about that level.
(recommend leaving any extermination missions as LAST in an area: they tend to be harder)
Once you open, for example, canyons, then you scan, and have a bunch of missions... one of which is to open the riverlands. You want to have access to level 30 tech (roughly) for that one.
It's not a hard/fast requirement, but a good rule-of-thumb.
And you can always just get the levels you need on that mission... but that could take more time than you have, depending how many levels you are still missing.
I came into one and was lvl 24 .... i needed 30 to complete mission ... so i stayed until i was 30 ..was plenty of time for it.
Now im at mission 7 and lvl 50 several times ... its not a problem mate !
No need to be rude, asking questions is normal. Levelling from 24 to 30 takes time and not everyone wants to stay in one mission for hours levelling up.
Your answer is not very helpful at all.
A better solution is to remove your character from that mission and do another one that requires a lower level character. That seems to work fine as I've had to do it several times due to bugs after an update.
Hey, many thanks for the answers, its been very helpful!
