Buffalo, "You don't own me. Let me roam free!"
Gonna try taking mine to a river and see if it will drink there since it is ignoring a full water trough.
-neither will eat various foods (carrots/soy beans/watermelon/berries)
-tried both filling the water trough manually from a canteen and letting it fill from rain. Still nothing.
-Also tried putting the troughs inside/outside (sheltered/unsheltered) and on/off a cement floor tile. Nada.
My moa also isn't great at following, but that's less of an issue at the moment. Sometimes I have to toggle the follow to get them to come along. This usually occurs after dismounting (the toggle doesn't change upon dismount, but turning follow on/off seems to reset the behaviour).
Also had some minor graphic weirdness when riding the buffalo, my avi's legs were swinging around all crazy, lol. Still a cool update, gonna wait on a fix. :)
I had this problem but only in the arctic. In the forest and desert biom I had no problems.
My biggest problem is that you can't leave the mounts alone for a while, they always get attacked and killed. Also when I scan for a vein, the mounts are the first to be attacked... Really very annoying having to recapture them all the time.
My juvenile / tamed mount DOES NOT EAT/DRINK/SLEEP
There is a (known) problem when troughs, beds or animals are placed close to a mountain or in a cave. It cannot find a path then, even if everything is placed on an elevated floor. Keep a distance of 6,7, maybe 10 floor tiles to the mountain. That also means that if you hop off your already tamed mount close by a mountain, it will not find the path to a well placed trough.
Another reason might be the trough placed too close by a wall or another obstacle. Fill your canteen from the trough, move the trough, fill it with your canteen again, and maybe also move your animal close to it.
