Idea: Semi-Permanent Structures
One issue I have with the game, and I see others do as well is the "session based" problem where a lot of what you build is worth nothing since it's deleted when the prospect is over. So to make things slightly more permanent and more sense of purpose, why not do a cross between the outpost logic and the sessions? So that the map is set up dynamically for a "session" as it is now, but all buildings that you've build previously are still there? This way you can create an elaborate building and not really loose it if you choose to keep using it.

So for example, all resources would be reset like they are now, you could add limitations like all craftables are destroyed so you would still have purpose to the core game play and you'd build stations based on your specific mission but buildings themselves.. They remain, so it gives a purpose to a tier 4 base. Maybe even have it damaged every new "session" they get loaded intro where you need to repair. If you abandon it and don't repair eventually it would fall apart, but if you did maintain it, it could last forever.

This would remove some of the repetitive stuff that's not fun and give purpose to building.

Anyways, just an idea.. Any thoughts?

This was already requested and rejected by the devs. This game is a hunting/chopping/mining simulator with a few side jobs.

It would be a quite big change programming wise i guess, and it is against one of te core game mechanics.
So 0% chance they will do it imo.

What i hope they will do, is to make much longer missions with sub-mission goals.
So that it makes sense to work up to T4, and build a more permanent base, since you gonna be there longer.

You drop to forest where you plant crops/hunt for supply mission, then you go to arctic to mine exotics, then to desert to revover a drone...
Basically 2-4 individual mission, but you can do them in one drop.
The sub-missions could be optional, each with seperate rewards.
So you don't get shafted too hard if one is buged or you can't complete it for whatever reasons.

That would be so much better than the current "make one actaully not so complicated mission, super retarded long by requiring an just insane amount of grind for everything you need"

I don't mind rebuilding every time, at least lower tiers.
What makes it feel strange, is that you always do it on the same map, on the same places again and again.
This mix of static/persistant map/world but complete reset of anything players do, does not add up.
