10:22 in this stream, its sitting right in front of the tree if you pause it
At least they fixed the bug about completed vegetables suddenly being gone... But qith the Squash, sth needs to be done, just loosing 3 friends from the game as they are boredbecause of this sh** ...
the idea is to grow them not pluck all 90 from the ground
so seems like a bug to me, as I can't plant it. Just like the previous bug, where I can't put carrots to the fridge but all the other stuff?!
oh man...
Usually the desert biomes, the one in the upper right corner of the Olympus map. I don't think they spawn at all in the big empty desert down in the lower left of Olympus.
Squash are frequently underneath other plants, and usually around water. Clear all the underbrush around the area and you'll probably find them.
You can also buy seed packs from the workshop too, and even order them to be dropped down to the planet from orbit.
Squash seeds can be awarded... (Through SIMP3 missions...)
or...Your prospector can just look for them...
Looking for squash is more adventurous and challenging :)
Once I knew they were in the desert, they were easy to find. I've seen them in other places, but they are mostly near water, in the desert. I went to the large oasis in the lower left of Olympus. Easy to find there. Take a sickle, especially the Titanium with Reaper 2, that I did, and you will be quickly throwing away Squash. I just wanted the seeds, so I really didn't care about the squash.
The one thing I was disappointed in, was the Aloe plants. It says they give medicinal stuff, but what I mostly got, even with the Reaper 2 attachment, was fiber. I think I got some sap, a few times, but that was meh. I was hoping this plant would give actual Aloe, which would be used for medicines.
They could actually make that a pretty cool part of the game. Make it a necessary ingredient for the best medical packs...those ones that fix a lot of stuff. They could also make it part of a medicine specifically designed to heal you after too much exposure, since both sunburn and windburn can be treated in real life, with aloe. Your skin loves that stuff.
Anyway, yeah it was kind of disappointing to see Aloe, and get fiber, or other stuff you can more easily get elsewhere. I hope this is on the roadmap for something in the future.
