But as a tip for the biofuel, just bring your composter with you, that way you can alternate between two cans. Unless you encounter the refueling bug haha...
We also found 4 exotics nodes around 1km from our base.
Can you find more nodes during this mission?, we're currently 4 players which could net 400 exotics to station then
Is concrete really needed? Can I use stone? Concrete seems expensive...
Oh and have 2 campfires with you and 50 wood for each one.
ah thanks for the helpful tips im closing in on building all the stuff for this mission. Didnt know about the angled roof and snow thats really realistic!
I think the biggest problem I have with it, other than the sheer amount of time it takes for the extractor to finish (I have built a 1x2 stone house above it, with my composter full of sticks to refill the 4 cans I have as I need to, so I'm safe, at least) is just needing 12 composite for the Radar. That alone is what makes it such a tedious electronics grind just to get started.
What I would like to see changed:
1. Make electronics craft 10 per unit, like nails. Or even 5, instead, would be a vast improvement and feel less like you have to restrict the number of electrical devices you can make on any given mission.
2. Make the Radar cost Aluminium and Titanium instead of Steel and Composites.
3. Cap the exotic node at 100 resources to reduce the amount of time you have to spend on-site, as well as halve the amount of time each one takes to extract.
My solace is that I never have to do this particular mission again, and that at least I know what the deal is with things, so can plan a bit more in advance.
I wish I knew that I could have fit multiple onto the node, I wonder if I have time to run back and make another now! I've already got like 150 mined though, so I think I'm most of the way there.
