Not Tried that yet but just restarted my extractor mission today with the full biofuel can in an extractor and it's extracting so slow I don't think the 2 days left on mission is long enough to actually finish the mission. Yesterday it would take like 20 sec or so to use full can and extract all it could and then I'd go refill the can.

It is possible that they nerf it after update like they did with strange harvest when ppl first start to speed run it. Ppl were reporting tons of it being mined in little to no time so maybe that's it

i made 2 more biofuel can's and placed them into the composter. now it started to fill again.

it takes quite awhile to start showing some green in the can, took me like 10+ cycles to start seeing the first green, it seems that wood or meat fill it faster.. around 100 wood filled an entire can while with sticks takes pretty much 10 times that so no point in making sticks just add meat and wood +the sap.

I had this problem to, was about to bake some delicious breads tried to fill my fuel can and nothing, had another, didn't work either.
Replaced the bio generater, nothing.
Destroyed the 2 cans and made a new 1, this finally worked.

Just had this happen, after taking them out of the Oxite Dissolver the cans were not filling BUT after a while they started to... It seems the dissolver "over empties" the cans and it takes far longer for them to start filling again.

What I have noticed so far is anytime you use a can in the Oxite Dissolver, it will no longer refill. Also make sure you take your can out when your done using the machine, or it drains the complete can. Not sure yet if this is doing the same on other machines.

Update, If you take the can out before it drains to nothing, than you can refill the can. If you let it drain down all the way, than the can is useless and you might as well destroy it

If you pick up and place dissolver again it stop the drain. After you place if first time just check if it will stop at full and should not start drain after. You can hear it draining so just be aware

The fact that this bug still exists since before "launch" shows how unready this game was. I love the game, however, the fact that so many gamebreaking bugs and bugged items still haven't been fixed show that the dev is focusing more on money as opposed to even labeling this as an "Early Access" title, which it clearly is.

I had this issue with the bio stove. I cooked about 20 meals on a full can, and had about 1/2 can left. Didn't think too much about it and went on my merry way. Later on I came by to cook up a few more meals and the can was totally empty. I was a bit concerned but again didn't think too much about it and tried to refill the can only to find that after 5 minutes of generating biofuel the can was completely empty. It's got to be a bug, but I don't want to have to craft another fuel can to fix it, so I'm a bit of a loss on how to fix it.

i also had that issue, when i tried to fill my 7th can.
though, refilling the ones i already had worked, even when the empty ones did not.

After a long time and much resources it did start refilling, I found another issue. Well I wouldn't classify it as an issue exactly... it appears that my small oxygen tank never actually goes below 50%. So I essentially have a small tank of perpetual oxygen, all things considered not a bad trade.

Same issue - only when refilling cans that were in the Metal Oxidizer so far. Stove and generator cans work.
Günjhar Dec 26, 2021 @ 7:43pm
Same issue here. I'd like Rockwerkz to pay me due credits when I can't finish my upcoming mission because of this bug.

The cans are broken. They go into negative. Throw the can out of your inventory so you can look at it on the ground and it'll tell you how far negative it is. If it's less than -5.00 then you can just wait for it to refill. If it's -70 like some of mine were, you can use 350 wood to refill it, or just scrap it, depending. But at least you'll know how long you're looking at.

(IIRC it's 0.2L per wood)
