Then why don't you gather materials to treat it?

Probably because a sature needs leather and bone. Punching wolves and bears doesn't seem like a good idea while naked and bleeding lol.

Yup. Wounds persisting after a friend picks you up is flavorful and makes sense. Wounds persisting after forsaking your former body and respawning in a new one, naked and alone someplace else makes far less.

That said, despite our raising objections to this arcane blood curse upon your soul that transcends time and space as early as BW2, it's marked as "not a bug". Your firstborn back on Earth doubtlessly also is afflicted by that one demon bear attack.

So rest assured. Unlike many of the other stupid, nonsensical things in this game, this one is confirmed to be intentional and working properly! Adjust your opinion of the minds behind it accordingly.

Is your imagination and your skill in planning ahead that bad?
Umm I think your missing the point. You have about 2 minutes before your dead again after just dying. You do not have enough time to make a sature. But yeah my planning sucks this debuff makes total sense your right.......

its annoying but A) its not 2 minutes, its a lot longer and B) nothing prevents you from crafting a quick bow or spear or stone knife and killing nearest deer or wolf for sutures, and this takes even less then 2 minutes, in any biome.

No you don't a wolf only takes a few headshots to kill, make a quick knife or pike and kill it, its because you're just trying to run back to your bdoy naked and without curing yourself or putting in a little bit of effort so you die again
blame it on your own self laziness its the risk you are taking

Fair Enough

I understand it can be annoying but once you learn how to counter certain things, like deep wounds, they become almost trivial. This kind of thing will also make you be more careful after it happens to you once, and you will know you have to focus on dealing with it should it happen again.

I honestly think several of the other status effects, like broken legs and sprained ankles, don't last anywhere near long enough and are far too forgiving. Broken legs shouldn't heal until splinted and should take a while even when they are. Sprained ankles should take about ten times longer than they do to heal and you should be able to bandage them (think tensor or support tape wraps) to speed up healing and/or reduce duration.

I'ts a silly game design. If you die and are reborn, you should start fresh and new. Period. I died for the first time to a bear, respawned with deep wounds, didn't have sutures unlocked. Thankfully I had some spare tech points and unlocked it then killed a nearby wolf and headed back into my base to heal my wounds only to have a bear (different one) tear down my wooden walls in 3 or 4 hits then maul me to death while I was healing from the previous deep wounds. I didn't mind the second bear as much as I minded spawning with 0 inventory and deep wounds still afflicted. It really doesn't make any sense why that's in the game.

Why are we being reborn? why do we come down _from orbit_? did they bioprint a new body, download your memories? There are so many other questions to ask here.

Die. Pick up stone, wood and fiber. Craft bow. Craft arrows. Kill wild animals. Use materials to craft the sutures. Problem solved. It takes about 5 minutes.

I do not agree with the game mechanic of wounds and certain states being persisted across character deaths but I didn't design the game. It isn't game breaking by any means. It is inconsistent for sure and I do not agree with the approach but I do not control it.
