Icarus Dry run mission help

Hey all, i am currently trying to activate the drill. The solar panel and the drill are wired up with green on the solar panel. Drill is humming but is not recieving enough power to activate aparently? any ideas?

Make sure the solar panel is still in the sunlight once you get back to the drill.. I had to run the line out pretty far into the area that stayed in the direct sun for longer because if the mountain blocks the sun, it won't power it anymore.

Remove the drill, replace it and re-wire it while the solar panel reads green. That’s the only way mine worked

I used a biofuel generator with biofuel can, worked for me.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. For me i simply had to replace the drill and then the wiring to the solar panel. It then worked. Very odd bug as i hadnt changed anything in regards to solar placement. The worms didnt even spawn until i replaced it all.

I thought it was bugged or that my wiring job was faulty - I wired it twice with no luck. It turns it was not the placement or the wiring but the time of day. It seems to need direct sunlight with no shade at all and that only happens during certain hours of the day due to the location.

yes i noticed this too. Was deffo a bug for me. As everything was correct the first time, the drill was actually running. Just could not activate it and no worms spawned. At least replacing it all worked :D
