Exotic deposit size?

So how many exotics does a deposit have?
On the Payday: Extraction mission and fed about 10 canisters of biofuel to the extractor but it is still going. Mission says I have to fully mine it but wonder how many more canisters it will take?

you can extract + or - 240 exotics

I finished the Payday mission alone.
The drill ate ~2 can of fuel and the deposit gave me exactly 100(5 stacks) Exotic ores, the max amount you can bring with yourself when you leave.
It might gives more when you play with a group?

Playing alone and got around 200 out of it so far.

I think it dipends of the deposit size. When i made the quest it gives me 240 exotic in total

Ok, finaly completed it. Think it was about 240 exotics. Took just a little bit from another canister.
Whish you could hook that thing up to a generator to be more efficient. It takes quite a lot of fuel in addition to all the materials to build all the stuff... grind fest is an understatement.

Yeah I just got 262 from one (not on mission, just the "explore icarus" that has the entire map unlocked. Says "all" as the biome. Hard difficulty.

When I did the mission to fully extract a deposit I got exactly 100. I always play solo fwiw. If you have it researched, using the electric composer is MUCH faster to fill cans, but can be a lot of setup in itself so might balance out. Unless you're drilling for biofuel which over never done yet for some reason.

Anyhow, you can carry more than 100 back with you in case you didn't know, everything that is on your person when leaving will be able to be claimed. I almost left mine behind the first time I got more than 100. Glad I didn't. It's a grind.

Can you drill for something else then exotocs? Wondered what that drill in T3 is for.

That drill in T3 is technically a mission related item used to break apart a very large rock that is blocking a way into another zone, if it does have a use other then that, would be neat to know. (it would explain why it is so cheap to make, so if you somehow lose the drill the mission provides, you can easily replace it)

Well that is strange since the recipe says it is a biofuel drill but the one in the mission is actually powered by a solar panel.

"shrug" dunno why else the extractor has a real price to it while the T3 drill is a iron bar.

Anything containing exotics can be taken back to space on you character dont need to load in to ship storage
You can take full of your character inventory, including tool bar. And if you have back pack is 6 more slots and module gives 5 slots. So in total 50 slots which can hold 20 exotics. So you can take 1100 exotics on single person

Pretty sure I just said that in the post that was about how the extractor has a actual resource price to it while the drill is a literal iron bar. So yes, am aware the drill is not the extractor, and the extractor is not the drill. Unless your talking about the drill is T3 and extractor is T4, which you would end up learning anyways.
