Avalanche mission - gold deposit question

Heya,

I searched for gold every cave location, but I haven't got as much as I need (G3-4-7).

For the cave in E8 I can't go is out of mission area...

Did the gold respawn, or is the quest not really optimized?

What can I do?

Nothing. accept your loss and start the mission again. Just hope to get more gold nex time (ore spawns are random). Game was rushed and resources balance is crap.

This is ridicuolus... You are restricted in the map, so you can't discover more than 5 or 6 caves and if you have bad luck you can't complete the mission?

I don't want to try again and hopefully I will get better luck next time lol? :)

I already spent hours of gameplay on this mission...

There is really no workaround or any solution?

Yes map is restricted, for caves you can use that map : https://www.icarusintel.com/
There are more than 6 caves for that mission but it's still failable because of gold.

Spent 10 hours as a solo on this mission. Got all the way to finishing the electrical tool. Left my base to go collect the last resources needed and came back to both my bases destroyed and everything gone from my crafting bench to my fabricator. Didn't even drop them down on the ground in the loot bags. Just left the prospect. That's BS.

Make stone house to protect your goods. And they did drop on the ground but there is a decay timer, if too much time passes it despawns.

i menage to do it, just beraly with the gold shortage but , (and i had started the mission before the patch come out) i'v gone to fabricator--->fuel generator and the eletric tool and that's it:P Guess it could work with a solar panel too but the fuel generator cost less gold:P O and another thing i just mined all the gold i can find only AND ONLY after i menage to make myself a platinum pickaxe
