Can anyone tell me how to get this? I have spent 8 talent point in the Wood section in the survival section but when I get to it it doesn't highlight. I have 2 talent points to spend so it's not coz of that

In order to level up the tree, you have to unlock perks within that tree first. Hope this helps.

there are "ranks" in the skill trees that require you get the points into some of the linked skills before going up to the next skill, maybe you need to put 1 or 2 more points into the spec to open it, or maybe you need to put a point into something else in the tree to unlock it. I don't usually go past the increased weight limit skill, so I don't know what other techs you need points in for that particular talent.

Thanks for all the comments but to clarify I have unlocked everything in that 'tree' 3 points in lumber yeild 1 point wood breakdown 4 points in movin wood so there is nothing else to get other than seasoned logsman coz that's next

To reach SEASONED LOGSMAN you need to spend 12 points total in the entire Resource talent tree and the 13th point can claim SEASONED LOGSMAN.

I would suggest 3 in LUMBER YIELD, 1 in WOOD BREAKDOWN, 1 in ROCK STAR, 3 in DENSE PACKING, 3 in DENSE PACKING II, and 1 in EXOTIC SPRINTER to get to your 12 needed before grabbing SEASONED LOGSMAN if you're going for absolute minimum.
