I felt sorry you hut burnt down at least you got some of your grenades
Oh yeah, the grenades suck btw, and they can CTD if you toss them near a building
yass thx ... i mix wood and stone mostly now in outpost ... you know, "just stone" is so cold, i dont have the electric lights yet but the lantern to carry is really hard lighting . I use a mix of standing torches and wall torches high up on beams that stand separately and one or two on stone beams which i place close to the floor so the flames cant possibly lick the ceiling
so far a €20 that doesnt feel wasted ... but i see ark and valheim pumping out updates like mad in the last two weeks, maybe they're on the offensive
which is good
it means they havent gone all-console and should push these guys a little
find out if its a hit 'n run scheme by february but for 20 i will have had my moneys worht he

its a slow love affair ... but i like it although it shows how RTX is NOT realtime raytracing ... but that could be just unreal engine not yet completely adapted to it , however
i fear its a post-processing thing, not bouncing photons, just open and close some doors and windows next to torches and drop carry-lanterns from high towers
you'll see
the torches work in a sphere on the pixels too so there's some "light"-bleeding on the outside, even if you look from up high like ten blocks up
since im not on the dev-team i cant say if thats nvidias salespitch scam, unreal engine or just the werkz getting used to it
room for improvement, if the card doesnt do it properly its fast enough so it should be possible to "hack around it"
... ganbarrei .. its a lot of money for me this thing
i like to see what it can do in capable hands
