recommend settings ??

i've been trying to play with settings so i can at least play this game this is what i can find out about my laptop

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.30 GHz
8.00 GB (7.84 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

i don't know allot about computers so any help would be great

I understand you don't want to hear this but personally... Start looking at Christmas for a new Computer... unless you have a very powerful Graphic Card [tho don't think going to help that much ] but if your going to play these type of games I suggest upgrade is a must here.

The RAM you have is definitely not going to be enough for this game. 16 GB RAM is a must.
Depending on your graphics card, this will be the cheapest way of upgrading your computer if you can add more RAM to it.

As for graphics cards, it can be run using the suggested card on the game store page, so if you have that or better, you will be fine, once you play and find the settings that best work for you. I would suggest trying to upgrade to something a little better if you can find one and if your finances allow for that.

As you are sort on RAM and if your graphics card does not meet minimum suggestion, as a person mentioned above, it would be time for a new computer, if finances allow. Since you mentioned you are not that tech savvy with computers, many pre built ones in stores come with decent enough specifications that will play this game. Just make sure it has 16 GB RAM and does not have a generic graphics card. A SSD hard drive is preferred and I would would for 1 TB of memory no it.

In your Steam client, go to the top left menu, Help > System Information.

Let that list populate and then right click in the body of the window, choose "Copy all text to clipboard".

Then come back and paste all of that info into a reply.

Unfortunately, that laptop isn't for gaming. It doesn't have an AMD or Nvidia discrete graphics card.

You can try very, very low settings, but it's going to perform very poorly because it's very low-end compared to the min spec GTX 1060 6GB.
