No fun playing solo :(

I really like the jump from the beta versions to the release one. Everything works but this clearly is built for streamers and people who play with a lot of friends.

Even the 2nd mission already is a pain as solo player. The wolves just swarm me. I can only assume that this will be a trend that continues :(
Sure, i can grind more XP by left clicking trees for 2 hours but then again i could play other more balanced survival games...

Wasnt that bad, just build a little tower to go up, i placed the radar run up my tower and shot everything down :P

Agreed - the solo play needs work. It is absolutely something we want to expand upon a great deal more. Hopefully with some of the updates coming this week.

We want to substantially expand (and maybe rework how it works) the solo tree so that is many different trees, and improve the ability for players to complete the missions solo. Maybe even missions that are ONLY solo. Etc...

Fantastic! I'm trying hard to like this game and embrace the session aspect of it. I like that you guys are trying something a little different. The real time aspect is another issue. I am going out of town for the week and have to hurry up and finish my session before I leave if I can! :)

We are still only scratching the surface of what "session" can mean, as we learn about the game and what its capable of being. Session doesn't have to mean "short". it's about choosing world parameters and (maybe) a purpose.

Also please add a version that is just SP Survival with regular enemies etc.
Outposts are just basically Creative Mode :P

i don't know if this will help you guys, but i soloed those 2 bears. trick is to set up the station and run away, the 2 bears show up and "maul" the station, but then they just wander a bit and don't attack you because they don't see you if you get far enough away. let them get away from each other, then fling a spear in their face, anything better than a wood spear should kill them in one shot if you crit. bring spare spears in case you miss :P

Solo is Totaly UNPLAYABLE NOW.zero fun 1 freezing or stuck and lose all where is fun?

i dont feel the same, i do find soloplaying very fun!

the only thing im concerned about is this. The grinding to get the tier 3 items is VERY long, to get all the items and ores for all the workbenches and stuff that you need just for the steel stuff you will need to grind ALOT, and i havent even unlocked tier 4.

my main concern, is when you do get to missions that require you to have those tier 3 or 4 items, as a soloplayer it will be like 95% the exact same thing as you have done 50 times before.

In my view, they need to figure out how to shortcut that whole grind. atleast for me. ive done maybe 7-8 missions now, and i do find it fun and challenging, but grinding the same stuff building the same small base since you dont want to grind more, and then making as little as needed before going out on a mission is gonna be a bit repetetive.

I am not a fan of the solo tree Idea. Sometimes friends want to play, and sometimes they don't. Better to scale things based on number of players in the prospect

yeah, im fully specced in the solo tree, wich is nice since i play solo, but if im going MP i will just have to make another char..
but that tree is waaaay to huge =D

I disagree game is survival not cake walk the game has been blast but I agree its more fun with players
