how do you place a door? i have wall sections but no option for a wall with a doorway in the tech section.. just solid walls. no wall with window sections either...

Hold R to switch types

Bring out a wall piece, then hold R i think it is to choose the style. there is a door and window frame as an option

There is a button you can press while having the wall placement highlight to change the style of the wall to one with a window, double window, door, etc.

Look at the walls and press Y. It looks like you destroy them, but you get whole walls back in your inventory.

Don't even need anything in your hands.
