hard to find yeast

is there any way to see wild plant from far away? I'm looking for yeast seem is very rare, I'm on EL CAMINO: EXPEDITION mission, and only can find near drop ship not other place

Yes there is. I've found that the binoculars are great for searching for specific plants.

Let me know how it goes for you. The binoculars are relatively easy to craft.

I move to a high point (maybe climb onto a boulder) and scan 360. Almost always spot the plant I want, then make a beeline in that direction. Gather the plant (Ideally with a scythe), then move to the next high point and repeat.

Absolutely a great idea. But some Items you need scores of and if you are looking for something specific this has worked for me.

yeah usually I do this, find few plant and grow on crop plot to harvest more

You can harvest larger amounts of yeast using a sickle for some reason, use one of those to increase the amount.

Not magical, they are literally binoculars. This is about using the tools available to you to solve problems.

So how does one use the sickle, just have it in your hand when you're harvesting? Obviously it's not like using a weapon where you mouse click to "attack" the plant with your sickle. I've toyed with holding the bone sickle in hand did not notice any change in yield from not holding it in hand.

you get more on sickle like yeast, if you grab by hand maybe get 1 or 2, but with sickle you can get more like 4 or more (except berry, you not getting berry if using sickle )

No help there. Hold this sickle, pick using the sickle (doesn't seem to do anything), or only works if they're in a planter?
