Upgraded meat farming?

I know there is a bench that gathers more leather etc from kills. I know there is a tool that increases fiber planting. Before I make the run to do the second part of the agriculture mission, is there anything that makes it easier to harvest the meat? Thanks!

Better skinning knife, I was starting with Sushi exotic workshop knife.
Skill tree: Survival > Hunting
Fine Butcher I (1 point)
Fine Butcher II (2 points)
Cold hearted (double yield on baby animals)
Build an ICE box (or a few of them) to ensure your meat stacks dont rot, 100 ice keeps them fresh for a long while

With spawn rates as they are after latest patch- you SHOULD be able to get your quota in around 1 hour. There are a LOT of predators now - be sure you have LOTS of ammo/arrows (think hundreds of arrows here) and repair mats for your tools. Its a near constant stream in some areas.

Try putting some crop plots INSIDE your base building. If you have tech and time, place a glass wall NEXT to it (even if its entirely INSIDE the building) and you will get a bonus to growth (50%). We were testing these last night and were getting 3-6 out of each planter each cycle. They seem to mature once per day (IN game time not real world time) so plant at sunrise and reap next sunrise and replant.
