Expand the space station
I would love to see the space station expanded. Be able to walk around, the workshop is an actual store with NPC. Lobby area where you can form a party. Private room with some trophies or something to reminisce about your time on Icarus. Watch the drop pods take off and return as other players are departing/returning. So much cool potential!!

Which do you prefer: menus you can click through quickly and get to the next drop fast, or navigating your characters around in 3D to different screens, rooms and players?

Absolutely want a 3D navigable space station. The menus are all on monitors anyway, so quick clicking can still be an option.

More like "Walking in Stations" from Eve Online. Not necessary, not needed, not really asked for. That being said, I would love a private room to put trophies in.

I'm not sure I'm on board with this. Shipbreaker did something very similar with their Hab; it started with just a menu interface and now has a environment you can move around in. Turns out to be a lot of bling, extra clicking and time cost away from actual play time. It hasn't been well received by the majority of posts there. The one menu system allowed you to do your business and get back to the game, the movement will add an immersion experience but may not get popular feedback as it did there.

Sure it's pretty to look at, but adding clicky clicky seems to detract a lot from the experience. WASD movement keys would probably be better than point & click.

I get the desire and wouldn't snub my nose at it, but it's not where I want to spend my time in the game and I suspect that might be the popular opinion.

You are probably going to be surprised by the replies.. hahahaha, I and it seems most, would much prefer the navigable station. We spend a lot of time on the drops (hopefully more 30 day drops are coming), so taking even a few mins to get to the planet is fine. The station would add a lot of immersion, you could even use it to cement the plot; have monitors or posters explaining what went wrong, NPCs chatting about their drops when you walk by, etc..

There is another NZ gaming company, i have spent thousands of hours in their game, probably the best ARPG ever, they focus on quick turn around for their "drops" or maps, which makes sense because you build your character to farm them quick for currency and gear. Icarus is so amazing, I will many times stay once the objective is complete to level or just explore and build.

To satisfy both, you could have a clickable monitor in your "room" that takes you to the current menu system..

While I have your attention; please see my post on optional side quests while on drops (kill 50 wolves, 5 polar bears, get space bucks, optional, Sol pops up after you kill a wolf or something and asks you to kill more to clear the area and they'll pay ya, big time), something else that seemed popular with the group here and would be an amazing addition to the prospects..

Thanks for being here and interacting with the community.

There could be the option of a monitor in your room that when clicked takes you right to the current menu system for those that prefer.

I'd like this, too- it would be a great way to group up & discuss the next Prospect. It would also be a great way to show the Company who hire us, to show that there's a space-faring community in space, not just our pods falling to the ground. Give it a bit more wonder.

Please no.

Sell this as a DLC if you must for those that want it but personally it would just be annoying to have to run around to a locker room to select player then run to the mission control for a job then back to the locker room to check your load out and then on to the launch bay to get in your pod.

The game is already too much of a walking simulator.. we don't need this at all.
But for those that would enjoy that kind of thing just DLC it and sell it to them. But keep it out of the main game please.
