I don't think so I'm not buying it. Way too high specs for a game!
My Issue Now is the Video Card and the Over Pricing that is going on Now.
I do feel your pain and understand.
Yeah I will have to upgrade too at some point, RAM, graphics card, and SSD storage, but this is the first time I see a game with such high requirements, they are really pushing it. I guess this will be the normal in the future.
Now, with my new computer it runs very smooth at around 50FPS with high resolution and all settings cranked up. It could not run better.
Now to Icarus. Before I found out that there is an issue with the standard FOV setting in the game, I had to fight to get 20 FPS out of it. Sometimes only having 15 FPS when there was a lot of things happening on the screen.
After having found out, that the game runs the better, the bigger the FOV is set to (whyever), I have set it to 100 which does still look normal on my widescreen monitor but gives me around 45 FPS...
Icarus is a very demanding game when it comes to hardware specifications. Even though it's graphics are neat, at best. If you think "I can run a very well optimized, older game which looks almost as good as Icarus, so I will surely be able to run Icarus, as well.", you are wrong.
