Lore: So are we terraforming Icarus?

in the video Icarus: No Rescue - we don't really know what happens to her, we don't really know what native aliens are on this planet besides a few animal like ones we've seen in the videos.

We know going outside of the particular area has some humans freak out so I'm assuming the majority of them have never ventured to far out. We have forest/snow/desert biome are these done by humans?

I hope they do a lore documentary every major release (the doc was quite good) so it's like an on going thing with players discovering lore then we get the videos of new discoveries.

Also it seems you have the option to go back to earth if you get exotics? since you can become a billionaire (why would the human want to keep risking their life)


curious who is writing the lore of icarus and how everything works, breaths, lives...so it all makes more sense.

Have you tried the discord server the people in it discuss lore quite often. Me personally I just play the game and am not interested in lore or story.
The story i believe can be seen in the 10 videos of the making of icarus.
