anyways please consider my suggestion and allow us play all the time ;)
Soooo, if you give a company $100, per you, they don't owe you anything? Do you walk into McDonald's and order a burger and only get a bite this weekend, then a bite next weekend?
They are not going to code the entirety of the new content between Mon and Fri, meaning the content is done and they are just spoon feeding their paying customers when they see fit?
This isn't an MMO, there is no server to stress test. This is typical software that should be able to be played normally when installed and updated regularly.
Ok...if you want to argue semantics, then use a car for the analogy. You don't pick up a part each weekend.
They don't owe you anything before intended date it is supposed to be released, no. The game is to be released on Nov 20th. If you order McDonalds in the drive-thru, do you expect them to bring you a few fries while you are in line to pick it up at the window? If you choose to pay for a game before its release date, then that is on you to deal with waiting for it. People should not preorder games and then complain they cant play them early.
My point is there is no reason for it except to create false hype. As stated there is no stress testing needed like New World for example. So why not just release the entire game into EA?
Because they don't have to. Why are you so entitled? That is so annoying to me.
Actually they are making you pay for being able to participate in the beta. You are backing their product before its even released. So yes he has some right and expectations.
I can see you are annoyed by a potential customer asking questions but not annoyed by a developer not completing a game before releasing it.....priorities seem a bit out of whack...but you do you boo.
Why is this new generation of gamers so entitled?
No one is making you pay to play their product early and test it. You control where your money goes. You are paying, then expecting they owe you something because of it. It is two very different things.
New? lol I have been gaming while you were swimming in your daddy's sack.
Beta's are not typically a pay for scheme. Developers used to pay people to do beta testing.
