But someone said the extra maps with perma outposts are gutted out of features. And if this game is only about basebuilding id say valheim might be slightly better. I watched few reviews but there isnt much innovation except timed rush. Its not even roguelite - you die and you start at first map. No death is meaningless :(

No you keep your tech and skill tree but loose your physicsl stuff.

Someone said the weather effects arent the same.. was he lying? I do want some sort of game like this.. valheim was fun but ultimately a flop for me - nothing to do there basically.

I dont get the hype for Valheim but think prople like that the game has bosses and somehow some path one can follow.
What weather effects do you mean?

A developer said this. Something like: "outposts are maps without the dangers of the prospect zones". So translated you could say outposts are creative levels where you can build stuff without to worry about desctruction.

Yes Outposts are purchasable. We created these for the community members who wish to play without all the dangers that the Icarus base game offers.

Outpost are for relaxed building on special maps.
There are no storms or animals as far as i know.

Gonna be honest with you Lori (Dev) for me the £50 price increase from Standard to Deluxe for a few biomes and a couple of DLC and some cosmetics... is quite pricey especially as a pre-order.

May just stick to the standard version for now until the price comes down for the deluxe, cause at £70+ it is a big ask to be bluntly honest in beta stage.

I hear you. We have been having conversations on how to add more value to the deluxe edition for everyone, and perhaps renaming it. This information is due shortly. I hope I can update you all soon!

I see you haven't been killed on sight by randomers who join you game. Enjoy the ignorance of the real game while it lasts, because maybe the next refund will be the real one.

How about having conversations about misleading consumers by saying a game is PvE and co-op, and that you can team up with others in a CO-OP session... only for randoms to drop into your game and then start killing and reviving you over and over again in a loop, while burning your home that took an hour to set up, and adding insult to injury by stealing everything. Not a great business strategy to use misleading and deceptive advertising. Hope you're not handing out people's IP's to get DDoS'd too as icing on the cake.
