Achievement Resync mod

This is a very simple mod that syncs your save file's progress marks with Steam. It was created since the game seems to frequently miss unlocking achievements (including the Jackpot achievements being bugged)

For the developers: The reason that jackpot achievements aren't unlocking is on line 197 (in dnSpy at least) of BumboUnlockController.

Small update, it now does its resync on the title screen instead of the narrated opening cutscene, that way it should resync in-between runs instead of having to relaunch the game.
I have 100% achievements now so I can confirm it works :)

Does it add the Achievements even though you haven't gotten the unlock? Just tried it after completing everything and it works

Hmm? It simply checks your save file's unlocks (the character select screen marks, basically) and sends the signal to Steam for the achievements.

This mod erased my save file for some reason, so don`t forget to copy it before installation. In order not to repeat my mistake

This didn't seem to work for me and now I can't open the steam overlay in game at all.

To confirm, the installation is to download the zip folder on the link, paste it in the same location as the Bum-bo.exe and then unzip it?

It's possible this isn't working for me because the achievements have not even unlocked in game, let alone on steam. I have full completion marks on several characters but not the in game achievements. For example on Bumbo the dead I have all completion marks but no achievements for him even in game. I also have 6 jackpot wins but only the achievement for getting the first one

I've simplified the opening post, and added an image that shows how it should be extracted (BepInEx folder and doorstop_config next to the exe). There should be no questions now.

I'm not trying to play tech support here, just providing a useful tool for a great but bugged game. It's literally not possible this could tamper with your save file or anything else weird.

That's what mine looked like. I've just logged on today and when I loaded the game, it worked fine and all the achievements I should have had unlocked. Thanks a lot.

Not sure what fixed it as I had closed and reopened the game yesterday. For some reason a full windows reboot fixed it. Anyway, thanks a lot for the mod

Thanks dude. Working for me too.

You only need the Bumbo Resync folder, inside the download and can use the newest stable Bepinex.

Steps to make it all work with no problems:

• Download Bepinex for windows (I used the x64 bit latest stable release)
  
• Unzip it into the game folder (Browse local files in Steam is the right folder)
  
• Start Bumbo from Steam then close it from main menu (for Bepinex to create its config)
  
• Download this mod (which includes old Bepinex)
  
• Unzip it to temp location and copy the folder from within the Plugins folder (it's Bumbo Resync), to within the Plugins folder in the Bepinex files within the games folder (both zips have the same structure)

Then start Bumbo again. When the main menu appears, so should the Achievements.
