think its a chance to miss as sometimes its hits but i have seen a few misses

Yeah if there are other enemies, there seems to be a chance that they hit them instead. (not sure if it actually damages them or not)

I have no idea. The fact that there is an item that blinds enemies with a 50% chance implies that a "100% blind" effect makes enemies miss all the time. But it doesn't seem to work that way, I used it 3 times and I got hit all three times.

From what ive seen its a 50/50 chance of the enemy missing you, great if you have a spell that affects the whole room and you cannot block all incoming hits
