Things bumbo want <stuff you can reasonably expect in a base game>
- Spell hotkeys
- Possibly even lane attack hotkeys ?
- Something like a progression codex or diary or what have you.
- Trinket tooltips.
- Enemy log / bestiary. Possibly also item index etc.
- Colorblind mode (not my request but sensible)
- Options for sounds / music / etc.
- An undo button ?
- Cloud saves for progression to carry over (not runs, though possibly those if doable)
- Quick restart button !

Thing bumbo want when bumbo get reasonable thing <QOL stuff>:
- Option to speed up / skip certain lengthy animations
- Coin sounds :D ?

Thing bumbo want when coin get big ! <less reasonable stuff / long term requests>
- Mac version
- Linux version

These are great ideas — especially the hotkeys.

Would also love for the navigation arrows in the shop to change appearance when they change meaning to "exit".

Hopefully in the Legend of Bumbo 2 there will be an option to turn off the music.

Yeah kind of miffed as to why there were no hotkeys out of the gate. Hopefully it will be something added to their to do list. I get that some people like to play with keyboard and mouse but this is a game that could easily be streamlined via keyboard.

yo, is that a thing now that you can assign controller buttons to key presses direct in Steam?
or am i reading this wrong (haven't used controller in Steam in a long time, lol)

Some games don't work with Steam's controller configuration for whatever reason, but otherwise, yes, you can put keys on your controller buttons.
And it saves your button layout per-game.

Also, you can put your controller buttons on different buttons if the game doesn't have an option for it!

But wait, there's more. You can add a non-Steam game to your game list in Steam to rearrange its controller buttons!



And mouse movement can be assigned to the analog stick(s), although personally it felt a little awkward to me even after I tried adjusting the sensitivity.
Still... more options.

So on that note, I'd like controller support so I can have different, hopefully better controls for my controller.

^^ thanks for the answer, I had noticed my friend used a controller on my 2nd computer and it said something like "using controller scheme from XXXX account" and I had never seen that before, will have to have another look.

Controller support will only really be added once they port it to consoles.
