Just as reminder - using "-file" command line parameter also disables achievements.
If you're curious, you should also be able to check the "cheats activated" flag by using a program capable of reading external program's memory like Cheat Engine. Pointer is:
0x1405EBE78, 0x8 - 1 means cheat have been activated, 0 that they were not
And no, there are more flags in memory, so changing it to 0 most likely won't reactivate cheats (maybe one day, I'll write a wrapper library to actually bypass it for some cases like loading a wad with -file) but this seem to be a general "cheat activated" flag.
I've opened the game (main menu) and opened Cheat Engine.
I selected the Doom64 process then went to Add Address Manually (presumably that's correct) and entered the following in the 'Address' box:
0x1405EBE78, 0x8
I changed 'Type' to 'Binary' (length 1).
After clicking OK, I see the entry at the bottom and the 'Value' is '0'
If I've done the above correctly, cheats are disabled (and achievements are enabled), is that right?
