And it's being handled by Kaiser at Nightdive, who made Doom 64 EX. Probably the best and most ideal person imaginable to handle this. This is the ideal way to handle Doom 64 being ported, and it's in very good hands.
Also, it's done by Nightdive which are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gods amongst man.
Wouldn't exactly call Nightdive gods amongst men. Their last port, Blood Fresh Supply, was nigh unplayable and had loads of inconsistencies with the original game until several months after its release.
(Hopefully a mod could restore them to normal).
And I believe demons now bleed green (But not the former human enemies? Hard to tell).
This version is also going to include some extra levels to tie this game to D2016 more..

Medkits aren't a problem, but the blood? That better be optional. Otherwise there's no reason at all to play this version over the original D64 EX release.
The fact that they got changed around is an issue to me personally, but I am certain that many won't mind it much at all.
In all honesty they aren't as memorable to me as the medkit sprites from the original games.
I will agree that once these "extra levels" get ported to BD64 or the original EX version... Well... Playing this would be quite pointless.
