Cliffhanger ending and sequel

Hi there,
since the ending can't even been considered a cliffhanger (since there is nothing resolved) and just ends in the middle of the story I wonder when the sequel will be announced.
Also what purpose does the (last) golden upgrade crystal surfes?

In comparison to "Hearts Medicine" the gameplay was much faster and harder, but sometimes the actions you cue are swallowed if there are too many and the "mini games" feel really unimpactful hence a bit useless (-> dragging bar codes in the right order does what exactly?).
The story is interesting and the cutscenes are well done so I hope the sequel will pick up were this has left of and improve on the weaknesses.
For example the scaling feelt a bit steep. I maybe wrong but it seems like with every upgrade the level became harder to complete with 3 stars.

So is there an information about a release date?

I'd like the answer to this too. I thing this is one of the best Gamehouse games in ages and I'd love to continue the story. They seem to be going mobile only lately which is a big disappointment.

Same, I wish they would make a 2nd game for this on steam as I dont go for mobile games

This is my favorite game from Gamehouse, I wonder when they'll give us a sequel, but I've noticed they haven't released anything since 2019? unless it is a mobile daily event game for Delicious Emily series.
