Good combat, short game. On the easy side. Beautiful pixel art. Lacks enemy variety and would’ve love a bit more of a challenge. Do recommend

This is a wonderful game. Smooth gameplay, proper hitboxes, no tedious grind, lots of enemy variety, responsive controls...I could go on. The game is actually teaching you game mechanics properly and lets go off your hands when it needs to, so you can come up with your own plan to deal with the things the game is throwing at you. Nothing feels unfair. One thing that felt unfortunate was the length of the game, but I'm still glad I got to play it. Probably my favorite Metroidvania game I've played so far. 9.5/10

If the devs add more content in the future, I will be back for more. Guaranteed.

A simple metroidvania with DMC-inspired combat (don't expect a big moveset, but you can clearly see its influences when it comes to combat: there are systems that reward attack variety, cancels, weapon switching and the things we all love about DMC, just in 2D) that still manages to feel unique enough.

A bit short but, honestly? although the story is pretty basic and the dialogues aren't that great, I couldn't put the game down until I beat it in a single sitting.

I'd love to see more content for the game, specially more enemies, and maybe 1 or 2 more weapons (but keep the fact that you can only have 2 equipped at the same time,) and a NG+ so you can play the game with all the fun tools that the combat system can offer.

If you're a DMC/CAG fan and wanna try something fresh yet familiar, give Divinum a try.
