Glyph accounts linked on steam
so basically every other game i bought on steam or played for free from glyph/trionworlds is linked to my glyph account (the one which i created with the first time with the Game Defiance on its release back in April 2013 ) so i bought Archeage: unchained on Steam and i proceeded as all the other times i did this .. but i did not notice that my glyph+Tag was changed it has my Name on it but a diffferent 4 digit code afterwards ( i really not noticed this cause why... all other companies are just fine and nothing was notifying me of any kind of change. so as i played and enjoyed my time in the game i was encountering a bit of a inventory wall so i decided to buy credits so i logged into the game and went into the shop and steam redirected me and was asking for a security code (here is the bummer) *It looks like you’re logging in from a new location. To protect your account, please enter the authentication code we sent to fake.37272284@reg.150.fake.priv, so that we know it’s you.* thats the message i got.. so i fumbled around and i figured out the 2nd Tag name to which is no email attached so i restarted steam and started the game and then i looged into Trionworld in a browser there are 2 different Glyph accounts
My own (with all previous purchased game (all via Steam ) linked to my Email address which i need to log in. and a second Account with Archeage: Unchained and no attached email so i cant log in on the website but steam does this automatically by redirecting. so now i have my account with numerous games (except Archeage: Unchained) which i can access only in the browser. and the second account with no email attached to it at all with Archage: Unchained on it.... i cant do anything with this

what happend that you guys decided on your own to create a second glpyh account without permission and without notification that i cant access whatsoever since ( It looks like you’re logging in from a new location. whats so hard about stickin it to the established way of doing this.

i also wrote a ticket to you guys but other than one automatic response nothing happend so far

lots of people have this problem. either a big amount of accounts got hacked at some point or its some problem that happened when they transferred the accounts from trion to gamigo. They know about it but so far i dont think they said anything about it. Ironically it makes it impossible to GIVE THEM MONEY, which should be somewhat of a priority for them, but then again it seem like the staff and support team they have is 10 times smaller than what they would require to manage all this. Clearly their estimates of how many people would want to play this game were extremely conservative and now theyre swimming in money and maybe dont even care because their cosmetics non p2w system will never make them as much money as the initial price of the game. By leaving it broken or at least only slowly fixing things they might even make more money than fixing everything quickly because now there are tons of people who feel like they need to buy multiple accounts to be remotely competitive.
It seems like there are a lot of shady things happening behind the scenes so i doubt they care about this account issue.

Same issue here, but I was able to purchase credits in the in game market place by selecting the item and add funds to Steam wallet at purchase. I had to exit the game and re enter for the credits to show up though.
Same problem and when i sent a message to support about the email issue like a month ago i havent heard anything back.

and now i have a second account with a game on it in which im unable to purchase any additional content aka coins.. and steam wouldnt refund because i am way over the 2h limitation... over 100h so far according to steam but realistically i have maybe 30hours in the game and the rest is accumulated after i close the glyphlauncher and the exe is still incactivly hiding in the system tray... so im ♥♥♥♥♥♥ twice

i dont understand, you have to have 2 emails for 2 accounts, how can you have the fake thing on both accounts?

? the 2nd account was created by glyph not me i only bought the game on steam as all the others (defiance,Trove,Devillian ) but this time i wasnt redirected onto my glyph account but a new one with a similar name.. and there was no nofification or account creating process involved at all ... and the ♥♥♥♥ 2nd acc has no email attached to it so its worthless i cant do anything with it the only way to access it is via steam so basically my own acc is removed in the process and the new one is placed... and since i have not created it i cant modify anything on it ....

thats not possible, it doesnt create an account when you buy the game, you cant have the game without a glyph account youve made before, it only adds the game to a previously linked account.

and why cant you access your old account, just log out from the current one and log into the old one.

so if i didnt create the 2nd account the one without an email attached to it...who was it ???? cause you stated thats impossible yet there it is .. so who ?? it wasnt me for sure...

how do you know there is no email attached to it, you cant access it. The thing where it shows your nick#random numbers happens when you log into your glyph account and then choose a Tag yourself, otherwise it shows the email.

how does that prove there is no email associated with that account? I got the same thing on my first account, which i made years ago. It says mobile authenticator for me, which i never used.
