There are many people in the Skul Discord who are happy to to help new players! If you are struggling I suggest keeping an eye out for revenge items, they can really help.

I kinda agree. It generally makes no sense to me to permanently power the player up as they get better at the game anyway. All that stuff could've been unlocked from the start or shortly after imo and it would make for a better learning curve. That being said. I'd recommend just turning on rookie mode, which means you'll get a lot further into a run and make a lot more quartz to unlock the meta upgrades faster
