Does the Death Knight eventually ask you for 100,000?!

Seems like it.
I paid the first 2 Dark Quartz costs (2500 and 5000) and now he asks for 20000.
So the next step after 20000 will be 100000 Quartz i think.
If it is really just cosmetics, then i'll leave it at that.
Still need the last 3 Trait Upgrades from the Witch, (each 6000 Dark quartz) so i'll save up
for them.

I had half a million saved up from the beta... pretty sure I had the world record speedrun for a few versions.
Anyways... the final upgrade didn't even make me flinch. :P

Same here. I just had enough to fully upgrade the the Skill tree and get the castle upgrade to the 100k requirement >_<

Sense i upgraded it i started getting rare skulls from the hunter, never got one before that in my 30+ runs so far and have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2 sense upgrading.

I think it's just actually rare to get from the fox at the start no matter what lol

Upgraded it a second time and i am getting a rare a run, got the jester followed by the rider and now the gene. Did not get a single rare until it was upgraded from the wolf. the forth run i only got common, unlocked the mirror on the gene run so that's cool

Alright, pretty nice, I wonder if that's a new feature? I absolutely did not get a rare every run from the hunter NPC before the dark mirror update.

If its possible I would like to start a new save to test it out, something like X amount of runs had X amount of rares and then do the same with only the deathknight being upgraded, not sure if its possible but without testing it could just be coincidence. I feel like its a passive bonus that would be considered like a luck bonus but it could just be coincidence and really only a cosmetic thing.
