Humm, in general, for speed skulls it's always good to have items with effects related to dash, cooldown and fast attacks. For example, the shuriken everytime you attack, or the wind waves, or the true damage for basic attacks work really well since you attack a lot of times. Items increasing crit rates also work since more attacks=higher chance of crit.

In particular, for Ninja, the items that has a 30% chance to reset dash cooldown when dashing is great. Since you dash three times before cooldown activates, you'll reset cooldown a lot, and a lot is A LOT. If you get that one, since you'll be dashing a lot items like the arrow falling on enemy when you dash or the dagger you throw when you dash are nice. There are also pain and despair, infinite bone, and sylphid wings for legendary stuff which does wonders.

Also note that legendary ninja can use its skills twice, once midair and once on land with different effects. Ninja has a lot of mobility so that's what you want to make use of, too.

great tips! but my main issue was DPS. What offensive items should I look for? Physical damage, critical hits? or should I run a mix of both? attack speed doesn't work too well on Ninja since he doesn't use his basic attack much

I like build ninja CRIT DMG + CRIT CHANCE
because Ninja have 2 dmg output > he physical and magic in same time
> the Legendary ninja skull => best to make him Crit than physic / magic

TRY Crit dmg output > any
like item give crit dmg > explosion sword > speed bone / green bone > bow / the crit Bow

thats the item u need to get > or tyr to get physic / magic item in same time if your skull have double dmg output

Oh yeah the hack and slash ninja is great option to climb > dont use to dodge enemy

High crit rate=Higher dps. Items which activate when you attack=Higher dps. Higher cooldown speed means more skill activations and higher dps. Damage when you dash and dash cd reset=Higher dps. Most of what I said was about dps.

Also, unless you're going for a CD reduction run, Ninja and most speed skulls will use their basic attack a lot. Since the basic attack is fast, you can always do a few between dashes, between skill activations, etcetera.

Thanks for the help everyone! I have used other speed skulls before and I know that they generally rely on critical hits, however I have seen several youtube videos of people running physical sets on it (mainly Beelz) and was a little confused.
