thank you my good sir
I am using Linux and I have been having issues with Steam Input in all games, disabling it completely and going native input or remapping with QJoyPad (for games without native support) usually works great.
i've tried this and other suggestions online for my wireless Xbox 360 controller and nothing seems to be working for me, anything specific i should be doing?
The other things i tried included downloading x360ce, which didn't work either
Installing Steam Beta Update may work. Please try it first and we'll solve the issue asap.
i'll give this a shot, thank you. i tried to play with my switch pro controller plugged in using the fix above also with no luck
I had to set input per game setting to forced on before to get it to work, but now it does not respond when I get in game.
Anyway long story short there was another update to my steam so I figured I'd try doing what I did last time to see if it works, and it did. Here's what I did.
Go to Library-
Right click on Skul: The Hero Slayer
Click on Controller Tab
Under "Override for Skul: The Hero Slayer" drop down, I chose Enable Steam Input
This got it working for me again. Try the other options as well, such as "Use default settings", if this one doesn't work my steam around the same time.
