I gave the first game a thumbs down but noted that the story of Lifeless Planet was good and the developers had future potential given a larger budget.

Almost 10 years later with Lifeless Moon and it's still the same low budget style of game with so much wasted potential. The graphics are now at an Xbox 360 level, but there are some nice landscapes. The music feels disjointed and out of place at times, almost tone deaf to the game itself.

The game itself feels extremely out of place in time, like it should have launched 15-20 years ago. Back then this would have been a hit, but in 2024 it really falls short. Luckily I bought it on sale, but even then I feel ripped off. At best this game should be $5 regular price, the gaming market has evolved a lot in 20 years and walking simulators have a much higher bar to reach.
