Unable to unlock last heart with Ares

As the title says, I've maxed out the hearts earned with gifts, killed 10,000 enemies, and spoken to him in multiple encounters after
I read on the wiki that the last heart appears after a few encounters with an Area boon

I completed an entire run while trying to get enough encounters with Ares, i got 5+ but did not get the final heart
Anyone got any clue what's up?
P.S my Ares keepsake is not at max level but i didn't find anywhere that that is a requirement for the final heart

The keepsake is indeed not required. Dialogue is unfortunately rng. So long as the game sees that you have met the requirements (you have progressed through the entire questline and gotten the necessary amount of kills), the game will add the next dialogue into your available pool of dialogue that comes up when you speak with Ares. The next bit may show up right away, or it may take some number of runs. There's nothing inherently "wrong," it's just a symptom of how the dialogue system is set up.

If Ares starts to recycle lines and stops giving you new dialogue and you still haven't completed the quest, then there may be a bug, but otherwise the game is honestly still running as intended.
