When Patroclus offers you his items in Elysium, his sprite covers your Death Defiance icons, so you're required to remember how many uses you have left. It would be useful to either bring the icons in front of his sprite, or to add an information window displaying your remaining and total uses when Kiss of Styx Premium is highlighted, similar to the window that displays your remaining and total health when HydraLite Gold is highlighted.
