The Bone Hydra

Everything else in this game involves a chat. A little discussion between you and the boss. That's what I'm here for and what SGG is really good at.

The Hydra has nothing. It doesn't change (I guess the random heads do, sorta) and it feels like one of the minibosses because of that.

I'd love for a bit of dialogue, a bit of something to jazz it up and bring some story into it.

They chat plenty! Zag and the Bone Hydra even become friends enough that the Bone Hydra gets a cool nickname! 'Twas a bond forged through the truest hardships but for that 'tis one that shall last through the aeons!

Yeah, Hydra definitely feels like a 'filler' boss at the moment, and he could use some variants like the Tartarus boss does. I'd even call it a first priority in terms of boss changes/variants, as it's a fairly dull and slow fight compared to the others.

He definitely says about as much to the Bone Hydra as he does to any of the mini bosses.
Even the first Minotaur is more interesting.

I feel like he chats the Hydra up just as much as he can Chat up a Hydra that doesn't speak english. they'll probably add more dialogue at some point in the future.

On the topic of, as Zag and myself are fond of calling him "that stupid hydra", can we maybe get the arena a bit bigger? Right now it feels too small to do be workable. I mean, I've been outside before, but it's a case of "if I can get the hydra, I can do this" because there's just literally no where to go to avoid all the crap from its third phase.

I think the hydra is fine dialogue-wise. It would be kinda weird if it started talking to be honest. Plus, at some point the name of the hydra changes.

My only complain is her Pact of Punishment battle were you fight more your movement and the environment than the hydra itself. Seriously, I have died to lava so many times because Zag seems to have ice covered feet that it is not even funny.

I think it would be funny to see the 7 heads of he Bone Hydra arguing with each other. Like The Main head = Mother
Smaller heads = Kids.

Example:
Mother: "Oh Good, another kid to deal with, can't you see I am busy?
Hades: "Well.. you could just let me through"
Kid 1: "Why not let him through?"
Kid 2: "Because our job is to keep him here you Idiot"
Kid 3: "Hey don't call him an Idiot!"
Mother: "Oh god SHUT UP ALL OF YOU, and you boy, I am so sorry but I do need you to be a good little boy and die for Mommy"
