Armor is not fun to play around
I've found that enemies have way too much armor health, and it really drags out fights be it regular fights or miniboss encounters. For example, all I can do in the big gorgon/foot fight is circle around the gorgon and plink away at it until both health bars go down, which feels redundant seeing as the big head doesn't get staggered on hit in the first place. I can at least keep the foot in place by whacking it once the armor bar is down, but the whole fight feels like it takes much longer than it should due to the immense amount of armor I have to chew through.

If there were at least a weapon aspect that dealt more damage to armor, or a keepsake that reduces armor percentages, this wouldn't be nearly as annoying. I know there are hammer upgrades that let your weapons deal more armor damage, but even if you can find one it might not have that option.

once you get priveleged status and start playing around it this starts to become way less a problem. You just get huge damage bonus on anything you can think two curses and bloodstone into that lives. So things like the megagorgon get rekt on. But early game before you have that mirror upgrade it can be tough.

This is about it. Once you focus on damage output you'll be dealing enough damage that armor comes down pretty quickly. In fact, it becomes apparent that Daedalus upgrades that inflict +damage against armor are a poor choice, with the exception of the Adamant Rail upgrade Piercing Fire
