[Adamant Rail] Delta Chamber and Flurry Fire

Whenever I upgrade the rail with Delta Chamber, it feels... off. For the most part, I feel like my output gets worse. I have been matching it with various boons, but so far my results have been poor- at best feeling about as effective as I was before taking the Daedalus Hammer upgrade.

My expectation from a 3-shot burst is a rapid, relatively accurate burst upon each pull at the expense of the overall DPS I'd get from full auto. Instead, I can get both accuracy and RoF while retaining full auto from Flurry Fire which makes FF a strictly better option unless I'm missing a particular facet of either upgrade.

I dash a lot, and the 3 shots I get from DC before dashing again feels significantly less potent and consistent than the other attack modifications I can choose. A button press/hold with the upgrade still just fires 1 shot at a time at the current rate of fire and accuracy, meaning I might not fire all 3 before dashing (mainly a QoL issue given the fast pace of combat) and the shots may not all hit. While I technically don't have to reload, the gap between bursts feels almost comparable to the default reload time, and now I can't fire more than 3 shots in a row before "reloading." That gap between bursts would probably feel fine if the burst itself felt more effective.

Supposing others concur that Delta Chamber is outclassed by other Hammer upgrades, I'd like to suggest that Flurry Fire drops the 'no reload' and gets a slight accuracy decrease instead of increase, Delta Chamber regains the rail's clip and gets slightly improved accuracy and high rate of fire (for the 3 shots, not time between bursts), and a new mod [Steady Fire] takes the 'no reload' functionality and gains accuracy.

Flurry Fire
++ rate of fire

Delta Chamber
+ accuracy
+ rate of fire
* fire 3 shots with one click/button press
* still has ammo

[NEW] Steady Fire
- Accuracy
* No Reload

I feel the suggestion above (or some variation thereof) would increase the quality of life for Delta Chamber significantly without stepping on other upgrades' toes.

If nothing else, it would be nice if the burst fired as one action rather than being a 3-shot 'clip' of sorts. It also feels a bit odd that the dash strike fires 4 shots rather than 3.


In any case, this is an awesome game, and I appreciate all the hours you all put into making it (and your other amazing titles)! I'm excited to see more because what's here so far has a choke-hold on my attention.

EDIT: I erroneously referred to Flurry Fire as Focused Fire. I rearranged my feedback accordingly.
