Aspect of Eris bugged?

So last night I got the Eris upgrade for the rail and tested it on Skelly to verify how the buff was applied and I saw no damage increase even though I was standing in the blast radius. I tested it over and over. Nothing. I went on a run to see if maybe I had to be in actual combat (not skelly) to proc the abillity, but still no damage upgrade. Today booted up again, verifed I had the upgrade (was burned by that a few times since the game dosnt save unless you take a stroll to another room), tested out the damage, and again, no damage increase. I went to the upgrade menu and moved the cursor from the upgrade "+" button (where it was as I was verifying I actually had the upgrade (it was showing a possible improvement from 30% to 45%) to the Aspect of Eris button and hit the 'B" my accept button (switch controller) - just moving the cursor really - and it works now? Very strange. Just FYI.

No its not bugged. Im an idiot. The aspects arnt cumulative like I first thought, they are selected. Id buy the 2nd aspect (upgrade) and test it and it would work and I assumed the 1st aspects increased attack was included. So I did need to select the aspect. Maybe its just me but this wasnt obvious at first. In addition, it took me quite a while to realize that clicking the empty spot of the selected weapon takes you to the upgrades.

Ive wasted so many Titan bloods on aspects that dont stack!! :(
