MacOS - Hades won't start (crash window)

Hey,
My game suddenly stopped working. About a half of month ago it was working perfectly fine, but now i can't even open the game. MacOS crash window keeps popping up with the following text: "Hades quit unexpectedly". I tried reinstalling the game, deleting saves, changing launch properties and nothing worked for me.

macOS version: Catalina 10.15.7

Heyo—there are some steps in the pinned help message for the game failing to start. I'd run through those if you haven't already.

I don't know exactly how Macs work, but it may also be worth checking for an update to the OS?

If those don't help, could you follow the steps at the end of the pinned help message about emailing [e-mail] some log files and describe your issue? They should be able to help.

I did everything that was said in the pinned help message, but the game still doesn't work :( I have the newest Catalina update which could be the reason for the crash, but still i am not able to downgrade to the previous version. I will try to email Supergiant support thought, thanks!

Heyo! I also just heard this message from one of the QA folk:

Hi there, sorry for the trouble! If you have an older Mac, this may be an issue we've received some reports of recently. We're preparing a general patch, but here's something you can try right away if you want.

Right click on Hades in your Steam library and go to Manage > Browse Local Files. This should bring up a folder with only one item "Game.macOS". Right-click / Two finger tap on it, and click on Show Package Contents. In that folder, go to Content > Resources and delete the gpu.cfg file.
