Hades on M1 Mac - Controller not detected

M1 Mac Mini, Xbox One bluetooth controller. Controller is not detected which for me is a dealbreaker.

Also, if you go into graphics settings and change resolution, it somehow scales the window to the resolution you wanted but it's offset and the desktop resolution didn't change.. so you have to quit and relaunch to get it back to normall

I'm having a similar issue. Controller worked fine with Hades until I upgraded to Big Sur. This seems like a known issue all through out the beta. Disappointed that the most recent patch didn't fix this.

The most recent patch should've helped, at least. Are you using the Steam Beta?

I have tried using Steam Beta and Steam non-beta. The controller doesn't work in Hades in either version.

Bluetooth, wireless, or wired controllers?

And are you seeing issues with the controller anywhere else?

I am also having the same problem with my macbook air m1 and my xbox one controller over bluetooth. I tried the command in the launcher settings and nothing, any ideas? I really want to play this game.

i really dont have any other game for mac, but in steam big picture works perfectly.

I have tried I'm playing via Steam(beta and non-beta). I have a MacBook Pro 2019, using xbox controller(I have tried bluetooth and wired), I have tried both Big Picture mode and regular steam. The controller works fine to navigate Big Picture mode, to be clear the controller doesn't work in game. The controller works fine in other games. The controller worked fine before I upgraded to Big Sur. It also works when I bootcamp into Windows 10 and plays Hades in Windows 10. I upgraded a number of weeks ago. I have rebooted several times. I have tried the beta version of Hades. I have searched forums for solutions and I have found a number of threads of people having the same issue with Big Sur, Hades and a controller. However, there has been no solution to the issue that I have found. So, I'm guessing it's going to take a software fix on Hades end to fix this issue. My expectation for our troubleshooting is quite low but I'll give it a try.

I have emailed [e-mail] two days ago. They responded yesterday asking for more details which I have sent over to them. Still waiting to see what they say. I'll update this thread if we get the issue solved.

Im playing it via bluetooth
Controller is working fine in Big Picture Mode and in other games that i tested it.
even tho in binding of isaac for example i have to map everything on my own
