Lost Progress
I lost my progress of this day. I tried looking at the folder 'Documents-->Saved Game-->Hades' but there was no file made today. Any chance I can get it back another way?

Sounds like a steam save sync issue tbh. You haven't gotten a warning about mismatching save state and having had to choose one when you launched it?

Thanks for your reply Tinytim. Yes, I got asked if I wanted Cloud Files or Local Files. The local files are newest, but they are Wednesdays' files. Usually I would not really mind, but I finally beat the boss. Even twice in a row. Now nobody will believe me :)

You might wanna go into more detail about what was lost? was it a single playing session?. Also, if the game crashed, they talked about there being tmp save files that are made as well, that can be renamed into the main save file name and it'll cause the game to resume from there, any of those present? (also, take a copy of all your save files before you start renaming and so on. You might have to overwrite the save a few times, and you should have an untouched copy which you only copy from, so that in the worst case, you can always revert to the one with a days progress lost rather than losing it all)

I lost a single playing session in which I played two runs. Just over an hour worth. Usually I wouldn't mind and just play again, but I beat the Boss twice and was very proud, haha.

I looked at the saved games (also temporary ones), but there was no file of the 30th (the day I played). Newest file was made the 29th. I guess I just have to try and beat the boss again. I know I can do it now :) Thanks for thinking with me, Tinytim. Really appreciate it!

Np, savegames are typically time sensitive (starting the game might wipe them for instance), so I figured I'd chime in with what I know. If it happens again, you'll know what to look for at least. Weird bug though. At least it wasn't more than an hour (though it's a major bummer to lose your first full runs).

Hey there, if you haven't already, there's some troubleshooting tips in the FAQ for save file problems. If the issue is with Steam cloud sync, you can also check Steam's troubleshooting here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6736-QEIG-8941
